Allowance Cards
An Allowance Card enables you to pick the “Allowance” (monthly budget) on that particular GCB Debit Card. If you set the Allowance to $200, then the Allowance Card holder can’t spend more than $200 each month.*
You can have as many Allowance Cards as you'd like, all with a different Allowance if you so choose!
The Allowance Card is a GCB Debit Card that gives Checking Account Customers the ability to provide a VISA Debit Card to someone that is not a signer on their account.
Examples of when an Allowance Card could be beneficial to you:
- A business can give their employees Allowance Cards to use for business expenses, gas, etc.
- A parent can give a child an Allowance Card for a monthly allowance.
- And more!
The only charge to issue the card is if it is an Instant Issue Debit Card. If you would like to have the card mailed (instead of Instant Issue), then there will be no fee to get the Allowance Card set up.
