Jason Patout Promoted to President

Gulf Coast Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason C. Patout to President, continuing the bank’s longstanding tradition of family leadership and commitment to community.
A third-generation community banker, Jason represents both the heritage and future of Gulf Coast Bank. Founded by his grandfather, Charles Patout, and led for decades by his father, Patrick Patout, who now serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board and uncle, Paul Patout, who now serves on the Board of Directors.
“I am deeply honored and grateful to step into the role of President of Gulf Coast Bank,” said Patout. “This moment is very personal to me. My grandfather founded this bank with a vision rooted in integrity, strong relationships, disciplined growth, and a deep commitment to the communities we serve. To now serve as President, as the third generation of my family, is incredibly meaningful and carries a profound sense of responsibility.

We will continue to focus on financial strength, operational excellence, and thoughtful, sustainable growth, while never losing sight of the personal service and community involvement that define who we are.”
Jason has been instrumental in launching multiple banking products to improve the customer experience at Gulf Coast Bank; including Spending Habits, Credit Tracker, Giving Center, Pocket Change, and Autobooks.

Known for his hands-on leadership style, Jason leads by example and fosters a culture of trust, accountability, and service. He remains dedicated to ensuring Gulf Coast Bank delivers modern financial solutions while maintaining the personal relationships that define community banking.
As President, Jason will continue guiding Gulf Coast Bank with a focus on stability, growth, and meaningful community impact.

Gulf Coast Bank Receives ICBA National Award for Community Involvement

We are thrilled to announce that Gulf Coast Bank has been named the 2025 ICBA National Community Bank Service Award’s Exceptional Winner!
This honors our 35-year partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana to help support low-cost after-school and summer programs tailored for Acadiana’s youth who need us most.
This recognition shines a national spotlight on something we’ve known all along, our culture of service is second to none!
This award wouldn't be possible without every one of our amazing employees who volunteer, sell tickets, come up with creative ideas, and carry our mission forward. This recognition proves that when we lead with purpose, the impact reaches far beyond banking. It shapes lives, strengthens communities, and builds hope for the next generation.
